On Saturday 13th of October 2018, resina collective presented a finissage of the exhibition A Fluid Haze: thought-forms from Ferrara Residency, which was part of the regional initiative “Energie Diffuse: Emilia Romagna, a heritage of cultures and humanity”. The event happened in two acts, with the aim of sharing the Ferrara Residency experience and reflect on themes such as creativity, mobility and sustainability through artistic residencies. The first act consisted of a guided tour of the exhibition at GATE|Porta, where research methods and processes of the residency artists were presented and discussed. The second act of the programme happened at Teatro OFF and included a talk entitled “Artistic mobility and international dialogue” held by resina collective, where the example of Ferrara Residency was analysed together with the impact and importance of youth mobility projects (physical and conceptual) in the contemporary political and social scene, questions around how to approach these projects in an ethical and sustainable way were raised. The presentation was accompanied by the launch of the Ferrara Residency 2018 publication.

The event showcased various artists connected to the region Emilia-Romagna and beyond: Munerude Collective, a dance theater company based between Bologna and Turin; Collettivo HPO, a collective of young architects based in Ferrara; Anna Stefani and Marco Tomesani, musicians and DJs from Ferrara.

Overall, through music, performances and conversations, resina collective presented the event focusing strongly on ideas of listening, collaborating, experimenting and sharing spaces in a setting that celebrated minimal, relaxed and sustainable aesthetics.
